AI Content Checker

See how much your text reads like AI output β€” sentence rhythm, word choice, punctuation and more, measured in your browser.

Runs entirely in your browser β€” your draft is never uploaded, which matters if it is unpublished or confidential. No account, no limit.

What people use it for

  • Editing an AI first draft so it stops sounding like one
  • Checking your own writing for tics before publishing
  • Seeing which specific sentences give a piece away
  • Teaching what makes generated prose recognisable
  • Reviewing agency or freelance copy before it goes live

Questions

No, and nothing does. It measures style, not authorship. Careful formal human writing scores high, and edited AI writing scores low. Use it to find lines worth rewriting, never as evidence about a person.

Because it would be unfair. No detector, including the paid ones, is reliable enough to accuse someone. Research has repeatedly found detectors flag writing by non-native English speakers at much higher rates. A number from a checker is not proof of anything.

Six things: how much sentence length varies, how many words appear that models overuse, the range of punctuation, how often contractions appear, whether sentences start the same way, and vocabulary spread. Sentence rhythm carries the most weight, because models write with unusually even pacing.

People write a long sentence, then a short one. A model produces a steady beat, sentence after sentence at a similar length. That evenness is measurable and it is hard to fake accidentally.

Neither. It is arithmetic on your text, running in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, stored or logged, and it works with your connection off.

Vary your sentence lengths. Cut words like delve, robust, seamless and tapestry. Use contractions. Use a dash or a question now and then. Say the specific thing instead of the general one β€” which makes the writing better anyway, whatever wrote the first draft.

At least forty words, and a few hundred is far better. Short samples give meaningless results, which is true of every detector.
